'The untold story of 72 books the Supreme Court decided you were not able to purchase, own, or read.' In 1959, Edward Mishkin was arrested and 72 of the books he had published (or sold) were confiscated for obscenity. Mishkin sold the books in several Times Square bookstores that he owned. The Supreme Court of the United States upheld his conviction and the books disappeared into evidence boxes and attics. 50 years later collector Jim Linderman decides to find them. This book is valuable mainly for the 72 title listings and images of many rarely seen fetish books and booklets. There are a few good bits of information within the pages if you can get through it. But, it is horribly written with tons of typos, and other grammatical anomalies that sometimes make no sense whatsoever. It appears to be taken directly from an old website blog, even showing in places the words: "click here". Again, the titles of the 72 books and the images are the main thing of real value here.
