First published in 1884, this is Bourke's classic work on the Moqui Indians of Arizona with special focus on the Snake Dance and other religious ceremonies. Bourke was also the author of the curious work: Scatalogic Rites of All Nations (1891). This leather bound edition is uncommon, with most other copies being bound in simple cloth.
