Many were first exposed to the Isiac Tablet in Manly P. Hall's classic work, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, where it is presented as a large folding plate. It remains one of the most mysterious and curious relics of ancient times. The actual date of its production is unknown with many speculations that it could date anywhere from the fourth century B.C. to the fourth century A.D. In the present work, Westcott has set forth the opinions of many leading authorities who researched the subject, including Athanasius Kircher, Eliphas Levi, and many others. The book was first published in 1887 in an edition of only 100 copies.
