VINTAGE FETISH: IRVING KLAW
Books published by and about Irving Klaw, whose imprint ‘Nutrix’ began selling digest-sized fetish books in the late 1950s, featuring illustrations by some of the best fetish artists in the business (Eric Stanton, Gene Bilbrew, Ruiz, Jim, and many others). Klaw also produced similar books using bondage photographs instead of illustrations.

Jersey City: Nutrix, 1959. First Edition. Stapled wrappers. Octavo. 62pp. Illustrated with 21 drawings, 16 by "Jim" and 5 by Eric Stanton. A near fine copy.
The artist known as Jim made his living in Switzerland producing technical drawings. The bondage illustrations he did for Klaw reflect his industrial orientation. Here we see captives restrained by means of pulleys, rings, tubes, padlocks, valves, buckets, cuffs, pipes, and stakes, all of steel, and all connected to chains.
