This is the second volume in Edward Mishkin's "Pain Trilogy." This one follows the adventures of the brother and sister as they make their escape from captivity and rally other "slaves" to take up arms against the despotic lesbian rulers of the island (the same who had kidnapped them). The first volume of the trilogy was called Legacy of Pain; the final trilogy volume was called Citadel of Suffering.
